We picked up some provisions at LA-based McCalls Meat + Fish to make an epic Steak Banh Mi with our Sweet Ginger BBQ. The combination of our gingery sauce with fresh veggies, herbs and crispy seared steak will transport you to another level of heaven.

Gingery Steak Banh Mi
1/2 lb piece of steak of your choice, cooked to the doneness you desire and sliced into strips
A couple spoons of Our Pantry Sweet Ginger BBQ
2 tablespoons of mayo
2 carrots, grated or peeled
2 persian cucumbers, julienned
1 tablespoon rice wine vinegar
Cilantro, for garnish
Mint, for garnish
Basil, for garnish
Scallion, for garnish
1 demi baguette, toasted and sliced in half length wise
- In a bowl add the carrots and cucumbers with a pinch of salt and vinegar and let marinate for 10 minutes.
- Toast the baguette and add the mayo, cooked steak, marinated veggies, herbs and Our Pantry BBQ to your heart's content
- Season with salt and pepper
- Close the sandwich and enjoy!
