Spaghetti Arrabbiata

Recipe by Silvia Barban

Spaghetti Arrabbiata

The easiest dinner of all time: boil pasta, warm sauce, toss and garnish. Mouth watering, spicy deliciousness in 15 minutes or less.

15 minutes, 2-4 servings

Ingredients

  • 8-10 oz of pasta
  • 1 jar of Chef Silvia Barban's Cherry Tomato Arrabbiata
  • EVOO
  • Chopped parsley
  • Pinch of sea salt

Preparation

  1. Boil a large pot of water.
  2. Once boiling, add salt and pasta to the water, making sure all the spaghetti is submerged in the water.
  3. Meanwhile, warm the sauce in a saucepan over low heat.
  4. Cooking time depends on the size of the spaghetti, but cook 4 minutes less than what the package says for al dente pasta.
  5. Drain the spaghetti and save some pasta water.
  6. Add the spaghetti to the sauce pan with the warm sauce.
  7. Cook the pasta for 2 minutes in the sauce, adding a little pasta water if needed.
  8. Drizzle with olive oil for 'mantecatura' and toss to make it creamy. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve!
